One line in, the whole bill out

You enter the opening the way you would write it on a slip. DoorPrep counts the rest — and it counts it the way a supplier actually sells it.

What you enter
Order 11408 Anderson Millwork
Qty 4

Size 2/8 x 6/8
Style 2-panel shaker, primed
Jamb 4-1/2" primed
Bore 2-3/8" 3 hinges
Casing both sides
What it works out
  4 Slab 2/8 x 6/8, 2-panel shaker
  4 Jamb blank 4-3/4"
4 Jamb cut to width 4-1/2"
 12 Hinge 3-1/2" square, US26D
  4 Latch bore 2-3/8"
 96 lf Casing 2-1/4" colonial
  4 Door stop set
  4 Strike plate

Look at the jamb. Nobody sells a 4-1/2" jamb — it gets ripped from a 4-3/4" blank. So that is what comes off your shelf, and the rip goes on the slip as work for the shop to do. Small thing. It is also why your count still matches at the end of the month.

Everything the shop needs

From the packing slip to the invoice — one tool instead of spreadsheets, whiteboards and paper stickers.

Door stages

Move every door through your prep stages with tap-simple, tamper-proof tracking. Going backwards or marking rework needs a manager code, so a mis-tap cannot quietly rewrite what happened.

Materials & bill of materials

The bill builds itself from the order — slabs, jambs, casing footage, hinges, thresholds, weather strip, counted per opening. Stock comes down as jobs finish, and a reorder point per item tells you when to call.

Purchasing & receiving

What is low, grouped under the supplier who carries it, ready to send. Log incoming goods, flag damage or a short delivery, and start prep the moment it lands.

Quotes & invoices

Price an order from its own materials, send a quote the customer accepts online — an accepted quote becomes the order — then invoice and track who paid.

Work queue & deadlines

The system tells each worker what to do next, and warns you when an order is at risk of missing its date — forecast from the work actually left, not from a door count.

Built for the floor

Runs on the phone already in their pocket. No email and password — a worker picks their name and types a four-digit PIN. Clock-in survives a dead signal and sends when it is back.

It learns your slips

Photograph the packing slip or the sticker and it becomes the order. Read a line wrong? Correct it once and it stays corrected — your suppliers’ wording, not ours.

Your own calendar

Shipping dates arrive from the calendar you already keep, and the packing slip is one tap from the date. Nothing gets retyped.

English, Spanish, Russian

Each person picks their own. A worker reads the stage they are tapping in the language they think in; your paperwork still goes out in yours.

Simple pricing

Per shop, not per seat — the price is the same whether five people sign in or fifteen. Cancel anytime. 14-day free trial, no card needed. Your data stays yours: download all of it as spreadsheets whenever you like, and close the account yourself.
